Sunbeam collects nothing about your child.
No analytics. No advertising. No tracking. No third-party software development kits of any kind. Your child's drawings, and any photo you choose to use, stay on your own device and in your own private iCloud account, which we cannot read. Nothing is ever uploaded to us, because there is no server of ours for it to go to.
That is the whole policy. The rest of this page is the detail.
What we collect
Nothing, from your child. Sunbeam contains no analytics software, no advertising software, no crash-reporting service, no attribution or marketing SDK, and no third-party code of any kind that reports anything anywhere.
Sunbeam has no server of its own, so nothing is ever sent to us. The app does use the network, and it is worth being exact about where it goes: all of it is to Apple, and none of it is to us. That means iCloud, if your device is signed in to it; the App Store, when a grown-up opens the purchase screen; and Sign in with Apple, if a grown-up chooses to use it.
Nothing a child touches contacts anyone but Apple, and the app works completely offline — in a chapel basement, on a plane, on a canyon road with no signal.
We never ask for your name, your email address, your phone number, your location, or your child's name, age, or photograph. There is no account to create, and nothing in the app is gated behind signing in to anything.
There is one thing our App Store privacy label declares, and it appears only if a grown-up chooses it: an opaque identifier from Sign in with Apple. That is described next, and it is the entire list.
Sign in with Apple
Signing in is optional, and nothing requires it. Every page, every crayon, every purchase, and syncing itself all work without it. It sits in the grown-up area as an offer, never a gate.
When you do use it, we request no scopes. Apple returns a stable, opaque identifier and nothing else — no name, no email address, not even a private relay address. For an app used by families with small children, holding an email is a liability and buys nothing the identifier does not already do.
That identifier is meaningless outside Apple's systems. It is not linked to anything else we hold, because we hold nothing else. You can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings, and "Forget this device" in the grown-up area clears our copy.
Your child's artwork
Colored pages are saved on your device using Apple's on-device storage. They are not sent to us, not stored on any server of ours, and not visible to anyone but you. We do not operate a server that could hold them.
If your device is signed in to iCloud, your children's profiles, their coloring, the Fridge, and any pages made from photos also sync through your own private iCloud database — your Apple Account, your storage, under Apple's terms. That is not a copy sent to us. We have no access to it and no way to read it.
Syncing follows iCloud itself rather than a switch inside Sunbeam. On a device with no iCloud account, with iCloud Drive off, or with Sunbeam switched off under iCloud in your device's Settings, everything stays on that one device and the app works exactly the same. You can remove Sunbeam's iCloud data at any time from Settings → your name → iCloud.
If you delete the app and it was not syncing, the artwork is gone. We chose that trade-off deliberately. Artwork that never reaches us cannot be lost by us, sold by us, or taken from us.
Photos
Sunbeam can turn a photo you choose into a coloring page. This happens entirely on your device, using Apple's built-in image processing. The photo is never uploaded, never sent to an outside service, never used to train any model, and never stored anywhere other than your own device and — if that device is syncing — your own iCloud account.
The feature sits behind the grown-up gate, so only an adult can add a photo. Sunbeam uses Apple's photo picker, which means the app receives only the single image you select and never requests access to your photo library.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Sunbeam is designed for children aged two to six and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, including the amendments that took effect on 22 April 2026.
We collect no personal information from children. We disclose nothing to third parties, we use nothing for advertising or profiling, and we use nothing to train artificial-intelligence models. Everything a child touches happens on the device, and the only thing that ever leaves it is the family's own data going to the family's own iCloud.
Signing in and syncing are available only behind the grown-up gate, and both are a parent's choice. Neither creates any record we can read.
If you would like us to confirm what is held about your family, email us. In almost every case the honest answer is that nothing exists to show you — but ask, and we will check and tell you plainly.
Purchases
Purchases inside Sunbeam are handled entirely by Apple, through Apple's own StoreKit. There is no third-party purchase service, no subscription analytics vendor, and no server of ours holding a record of who bought what.
We never see your payment details, your card number, or your billing address. Apple tells the app only that a purchase happened, so it can unlock. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction, and Apple's Family Sharing rules govern sharing it with your household.
This website
sunbeamcoloring.com is a handful of static pages. It sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no Meta pixel, no Google Analytics, no third-party embeds, no third-party fonts, and no scripts at all. There is no form on this site and no mailing list to join.
Our hosting provider keeps the standard server logs any web host needs to serve and secure a site — an IP address, the page requested, and a timestamp. We do not use those logs to build a profile of anyone, and the provider's own privacy policy governs that processing.
Changes
If this policy ever changes we will update the date at the top and note what changed. If a change ever meant we started collecting something, we would say so plainly and in advance.
